PANDEMONIUM IN PHOENIX: EMILIANO GRILLO SLAM DUNKS 16

Emiliano Grillo is a 32 year old Argentine with 2 PGA Tour wins, 27 major championship appearances and approximately $23,000,000 in career earnings since turning pro in 2011. And of all the accomplishments and realized-dreams along the way, you have to imagine this is #1 moment on the list. As I type this the 16th hole at Waste Management is descending into chaos. People have completely lost their minds and rightfully so. It’s been over 1,000 tee shots since we got a hole in one on 16 and that’s translating to a solid 10 minute interruption for beer showers and shenanigans. The highlights are unbelievable and everybody knows I love highlights. It’s a staple here.

And not to make this too much about me but I want to celebrate myself for a second. This is the first blog in CarlsBlogs.com history that I’m writing from my phone and that’s actually a big deal to have that functionality. So nice to know I can post videos and share stuff on the can or sitting at the saloon. Really gives me some room to breath away from the desktop throughout the day. Again it’s not about me right now but worth noting that’s absolutely huge for me.

Nevertheless congrats to Emiliano. Every time I see his name, I think of Emilio Estevez which then makes me think of Gordon Bombay, and then that makes me happy because Gordon Bombay was a good coach. Mighty Ducks, even better movies with D2 being in my top 10 sports (all categories). So shoutout Emiliano for triggering good vibes at all times. Hopefully you brought your wallet to the clubhouse today because the people in Phoenix are expecting a truckload of drinks on your tab.

Probably well worth it.
