Never had you ever needed a better reason to start drinking your weekend beers if you’re into that kinda stuff. No judgment otherwise but for those of us that indulge. The King is finally healthy after a long and scary battle with cancer. One of the all time legends of modern pre-steroid baseball for so many reasons both on and off the field. The stories are so good that I would just ask you to spend some time googling your way around. It’s too late in the week for me to be compiling things on your behalf if we’re being honest. It’s time to celebrate Wade’s health and that time is now.
Feels good to get some great news to wrap up the first week in CarlsBlogs.com history. 48 blogs was a lot of blogs but I think it’s doable. At least until the baseball season starts and provided I show myself some personal grace along the way. It won’t all be perfect but as long as it’s a good time then I’ll keep firing into the internet abyss.
As it stands, looks like we’ll be doing wake up blogs at 8am daily following some kind of general theme for the week. Then we’ll go every hour starting at 9:30 until 5:30, and right now we’re wrapping with MILFs Monday-Thursday. I like 2-3 Cubs posts a day, a healthy mix of Chicago local stuff when appropriate, the right amount of Bears and a Bookie Chronicles on Thursday afternoon. Filling in the gaps will take time which is great because I’ve got plenty to spare.
In the interim, you can always/only support CarlsBlogs.com by visiting the Sterk Family Farms website and placing an order for nontoxic skincare products. I’ll promote and explain that shit later but don’t let that stop you from looking now. Mrs. Carl ships to all 50 states.
For real though – thanks for checking this out. I’ll have a lot more to say about a lot more things as this goes.
As you’ll see posted below, there’s a full weeks worth of blogs. Thanks for stopping by. I need to get better at ending blogs. Okay see you later. Congrats Wade Boggs. Please for the love of all that is sacred and holy make Alex Bregman a Chicago Cub.
