I should have posted this yesterday but I’m taking the week the work on Sterk Family Farms because we’re going in our first store before July 4th and I’ve been working on the labeling and social media calendar. So excuse me for a minute while I’m a small business owner in America doing the important heavy lifting behind the scenes nobody wants to talk about. In reality this weeks are coming for me more often now that we’re getting into actual brick and mortar locations. Which is awesome. Really just a testament to my old lady’s recipe. The lady knows how to make a lip balm let me tell you.
In other news and for now, we’ve got a fresh Monday Morning Cubs Show from yesterday and surprise the Cubs are in 1st place. Again.
Mahoney’s on vacation and I think I used the wrong microphone to record but otherwise it’s a solid show with a lot of stuff including but not limited to:
- Breaking down the lead off spot
- Why pinch hitters are our biggest non-pitching need at the deadline
- Why we can get those pinch hitters from AAA in theory
- A general AAA report of prospects including Jaguar and Caissie’s strikeout rate
- Dansby Swanson gets a lengthy rant in support
- Carson Kelly gets a rant going the other way
- Rafael Devers got traded to the giants
- We have 44 wins at least one month sooner than the last 5 seasons
- The bullpen is 4th in MLB
- I can’t stop calling people “My Friend” since coming back from Miami
