Finally A Reason To Watch The 2025 White Sox: Nancy Faust Is Coming Back On Select Sundays To Celebrate The Club’s 125th Anniversary Season

Well I’ll be damned.

The first and maybe/arguably the only reason anyone should be going to see the White Sox this year is to watch Shane Smith pitch.

Next up would be the opposing teams. Some of them have very good players and you can watch them against the White Sox for about $6.

And if we’re being honest. I think the White Sox still put on a great in-game experience. Concessions are always delicious and well-portioned. Parking is convenient and Gene Honda doesn’t take a day off behind the microphone. Dunkin Race never ages (go Bagel) and the fireworks don’t take a back seat to any non-military American institution.

So don’t let me sit here and completely shit on people who like going to White Sox games. I hawk secondary ticket markets harder than MySoxSummer works a northwest Indiana garage sale from the facebook market honey hole he doesn’t want to talk about and I say that respectfully. I truthfully enjoy the process.

All of that to say that Nancy Faust coming back on select Sundays just went to the top of the list.

Arguably the greatest stadium organist of all time, Nancy Faust did 41 years behind the keys for the Chicago White Sox.

In that time, she missed just 5 home games – all for the birth of her son Eric.

Other than that, she was a complete mainstay in the White Sox lineup, far surpassing names like Steve Stone and Hawk Harrelson and Gene Honda in home game performances.

The only person to see more Chicago White Sox baseball in this time has been the Sodfather and that man deserves an entire 60 minutes episode if not a full Clint Eastwood portrayal.

My point is that she’s back upstairs after a 15 year hiatus and that’s fucking awesome because Nancy Faust rocks. Even if it’s a money grab from the worst team in the American League, it’s enough to move the needle and get me to Guaranteed Rate on a Sunday with my dad because that’s a great memory.

So just a heads up Nancy will be around on select Sundays and you should definitely go listen to her.
