X.com – The Chicago Bears have confirmed a 10% increase in season-ticket prices for the 2025 season, as announced by team President/CEO Kevin Warren. This follows a trend of price adjustments, though specifics on previous years’ increases remain unconfirmed. The decision has sparked varied responses among the fanbase; some express frustration over the team’s recent performance, while others weigh the cost against the potential benefits of season tickets versus secondary market purchases. Warren defends the price adjustment by citing market analysis and an optimistic view of the team’s future, amidst discussions on the value of season tickets when team success is uncertain.
I understand funeral costs are expensive these days but you absolutely cannot be jacking up ticket prices by 10% this year. You just can’t do it. I don’t care that we beat the Packers in week 18 or that we have to pay for the Ben Johnson parade that’s still marching. There’s literally no valid or viable reason to explain a ticket price increase – ESPECIALLY YOUR FUCKING OPTIMISM.
What world are we living in right now
We already paid an 8% Caleb Williams tax last year without getting an offensive coordinator or an offensive line. We then fired our head coach, lost 10 in a row and subsequently lost the entire fanbase’s trust. And now we’re learning that the brilliant next step from all this is to raise ticket prices AGAIN on the last remaining group of loyal fans? It takes a special kinda stupid to do that. You have to be dedicated to stupidity. You have to wake up everyday with a passion for being a fucking moron to even consider this decision.
But Carl – what about the new stadium?
How about we win half our games before we complain about the facilities. That’s the most annoying part about all of this. People think the cost of doing business should get passed to the fan first, and results come second.
That would be like raising money for a business that only loses money. It would be a capital call on a group of investors that have done nothing but lose their ass since they originally bought in. And all the Bears do is light their money on fire and then turn around and ask for more money. It makes me sick.
I think this might be my last push as a Bears fan before needing a break. It’s going to take a couple months but I’ll warm up to the 2025 season at some point. I’ll start to believe in Ben Johnson and that Caleb made all the necessary offseason adjustments. I know that guy is in me and he’ll be out in full form come the fall.
But that’s a long way away so let me just say right now that I absolutely hate the Chicago Bears and everything they do to us.
It’s never going to end.
