So needless to say things have been tense and embarrassing and nationally toxic to an extent. Especially for a world class institution that’s been responsible for YouTube and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Obviously we can’t be doing upside down jersey retirements. Nobody’s arguing that.
Instead I just want to argue that TSJ is a fuckin rocket scientist for throwing charity into the mix. Even if it’s just a couple bucks or couple grand or enough to pay the electric bill. Whatever the contribution, the fact he’s smart enough to pull this off is the bigger contribution.
So let this be a lesson to all you Iowa grads out there. When Life has you UPSIDE DOWN (I can’t type that actually upside down) then you just need to turn it around.
PS – I still have Ayo slightly better in my power rankings of all time Illini. But I’m willing to hear arguments on behalf of TSJ.
