Tommy Boy (FULL MOVIE)

It’s been a minute since we did a Full Movie and this actually leads nicely into the Cubs 6:40pm start time against the Marlins.

Personally I went to the dentist this morning and he numbed my face so hard I can’t taste or talk. It feels so weird. And I know better than to touch my face but it itches real bad. Problem is I won’t know my own strength in scratching and could do serious damage if I give in to temptation. So for now I wait until the itch goes away and it’s rather tortuous aka good time to go back to the honey hole that is Tommy Boy.

Without a doubt my #1 non-sports, non-holiday comedy of the early/mid 90’s era and that’s all because of the camaraderie between Spade and Farley. There’s a reason older guys like me pine for better and funnier days and that’s because we were raised on the timeless classics. This is one of them.

In other news:

  • I’m so excited for Moises Ballesteros tonight I can hardly contain myself
  • I would like my face to regain baseline functionality before 1st pitch if that’s not too much to ask
  • A good reminder I need to update the Wrigleyville Bar rankings for May
  • I have 4 tickets to giveaway for the Cubs/White Sox game this Friday so keep your eyes peeled on twitter for that announcement
  • Mrs. Carl made a candied pecan chicken salad with a homemade vinaigrette for lunch and I can’t enjoy it because my face is like a melted candle right now
  • I want to argue with people who want to argue about Moises Ballesteros so don’t be bashful if you want to catch some smoke today. You know where to find me online
  • I’ve been drinking a lot of Peroni lately and I think it might be my official beer of the summer but that’s a little foofy. I’ve been making a transition to Busch Light the last 12 months but I don’t want to make it official because I don’t like Busch Light with food. That’s been the big hold up so just stay patient and I’ll probably have an announcement in the next couple days about the official beer of summer.
